Beng is the head of a family of five members who work as woodcutters making various wooden furniture. He lives a comfortable life with his profession and plans to buy a house, intending to build it himself using wood from the forest. However, the trees are inhabited by a family of spirits.

Beng takes the wood to the carpenter to build the house. Due to issues with the payment, it becomes clear that the house is haunted by spirits. Out of anger, the carpenter, upset with the house owner, secretly embeds a metal rod into the wood. He knows in advance that when the house is built, it will trap the spirit inside, regardless of any rituals performed. Since then, Beng’s family faces a series of events that lead to several deaths.
